Virginia Tech is a high-variance team, as they have a lot of good three-point shooters. That makes it difficult to go a long way in the tournament. They have beaten all three of the elite teams in the ACC in Duke, North Carolina, and Virginia, but that being said they still have 11 losses. Alabama has been under scrutiny for being selected as a 19-15 team, but the Crimson Tide can defend well, and in a tight game there are not many players I'd rather have on my team than Collin Sexton who is a true All-American type player. This game is projected to be close, and probably will be, so having Sexton on my side in a tight game and knowing he is capable of taking over is where I want to be especially as a slight dog.
