Alabama Crimson Tide vs Texas Tech Red Raiders Point Spread Picks

Bobby Knight did a good job of elevating the program at Texas Tech, but since his departure the Red Raiders have fallen back considerably. Tech has started 2-0 under Tubby Smith, but wins vs. Houston Baptist, and Northern Arizona have done little to prepare them for an Alabama team that should be hungry after falling to Oklahoma. That was a misleading game, as the Tide were cruising by 16 points at 26-10 when their top two players got into foul trouble, and they never seemed to get the flow back from that point on. That has held the line down here, and I expect Alabama to come charging back tonight. Tech has suffered road woes in their last 16 games where they are a dismal 3-13 ATS, and the Tide owns a 5-1 edge in the last six in this series. Play on Alabama.
