The Akron Zips have certainly been a player at the top of the MAC Conference the past two years. Despite their 2-0 start to the season, the competition is getting elevated for this one. The Zips lost their second and third best scorers from last season, as well as their playmaker and top assist man. They still have a decent amount of talent, but they don't match up well with Miami. Miami is flying under the radar despite a big win vs. Florida, and the fact they put up 69 points against the Gators is a pretty big deal as Florida is usually one of the top defending teams in the country every year. The Canes shot 49% from the floor and 50% from deep, and have too many answers for an Akron team that might take some time to put things together with new pieces in new roles. The Zips have struggled against a winning team where they own just a 2-8 ATS mark in their last 10 facing one, and stand at just 4-11 ATS in their last 15 overall. The Hurricanes have not been intimidated by winning teams and tend to take the game right at them, and have played their last four against a team over .600 to the OVER.
