Detroit at Chicago

Detroit finally finished the job and upset Green Bay after fading down the stretch in many of their games the last two seasons. The Lions picked off Aaron Rodgers three times and he threw an incomplete pass on fourth down fron the Detroit 17 in the final minute to seal the deal for Detroit. The game went UNDER by 25 points as the Lions put on their best defensive show of the season in holding the Packers to one touchdown. Chicago has dropped five of its past six games while finding ways to lose and the latest was a 35-32 defeat by Miami despite the fact that quarterback Justin Fields ran for 178 yards, the most by an NFL QB in a regular-season game. The Bears had 40 carries for 252 yards rushing, but still came up short. Both meetings last year went UNDER and the Lions are 8-3 UNDER their past 11 road games while the Bears are 22-9 UNDER their past 31 home contests. Also, Chicago is 20-6 UNDER after an ATS win. Detroit is 9-3 ATS versus NFC teams, including 6-0 ATS against the NFC North dating to last season. Take the Lions and the UNDER.
