The Miami Marlins were just 12-10 down the stretch, but that was good enough to hold off a lot of competition. The Phillies were one of those teams that was always around. They seemed to be steady and improving all season. The Phillies over their last 81 games of the season were 47-33 which was sixth best in all of MLB. They will start Zack Wheeler in Game 1, and he was one of the main reasons the Phillies were a better team deep in the season. Wheeler led the Phillies to a 13-7 mark with opponents showing an average loss of 2.6 runs per game. He was also 7-2 in his last nine starts at home. Wheeler has an impressive 2.48 ERA vs. the Marlins in 22 career starts against them. It's tough to see a path for Miami in this one. Make the play on Philadelphia.
