Seattle at Minnesota

The Seattle Storm rolled to victory at home to start the season vs. the Vegas Aces but lost the next game to the same Aces team by 16. The Storm has Stewert and Loyd to carry the scoring load and they will have to here as Russell, and Prince may not play tonight. That could shorten the rotation and offer a slower pace. Minnesota will also be short-handed as Napheesa Collier will be sidelined for tonight's game. The Lynx are certainly undervalued here after an 0-2 start, which mostly can be explained by their poor shooting performances. The Lynx shot just 13% from deep vs. the Liberty. Minnesota has been very good in the role of a home dog as they don't often get many chances in this spot, and are 6-3 ATS since 2014 in this role. Hard to believe the Lynx will start 0-3, and with some key players out on both sides, I look for a lower-scoring game than expected and Minnesota doing what they do best at home, be highly competitive.
