This might not be worst vs. first, but it is just about there as the Los Angeles Sparks trail Minnesota by a single game, and the best record in the WNBA overall. Connecticut has had a disappointing season with just seven wins - fewest in the WNBA. These games often turn out a lot more competitive than they look, as lowly Connecticut isn't likely to coax the "A" game out of LA, who has Atlanta, and Minnesota twice in their next five games. Connecticut can at least get a feel good by bringing everything they have vs. a challenging LA team. The Sun lost by just 2 points at Connecticut, and I think this one plays out a lot closer than it looks. The Sparks may be winning, but the numbers have worked against them at just 4-9 ATS in their last 13, and are just 1-5 ATS in their last six at home. Connecticut will find their way above the number here, so play on Connecticut.
