Washington at Philadelphia

Washington bounced back from its loss against Ottawa with a 4-1 victory over Nashville on Tuesday as Ilya Samsonov had 33 saves and Alex Ovechkin scored a pair of goals for the Capitals. Philadelphia continued its disastrous season losing its third in a row 5-4 in overtime at Pittsburgh and the Flyers have had a hard time keeping the puck out of their cage. The Capitals have won six of the past eight meetings and Samsonov is 16-7-3-0 with a 2.83 goals-against average. Flyers goalie Carter Hart has allowed 13 goals his last three starts and Philly has several skaters on the injured list. Washington is lighting the lamp and they have momentum.
