St. Louis at Colorado

St. Louis put forth a valiant effort Tuesday before losing the series opener 3-2 on Josh Manson's OT winner 8:02 into the extra frame. It was a heartbreaking loss for the Blues and Jordan Binnington, who had 51 saves. The Blues were outshot 54-25 and still took it into OT after a late goal by Jordan Kyrou. St. Louis is 52-37 on the puck line this season, including 26-19 on the road and it had won the last three games of the Minnesota series while Binnington has won eight of his last 10 decisions, getting hot when it matters most. The Blues are 10-4 playing with one day of rest and they have won eight of 11 as road underdogs. Colorado has won 55 of 66 home games, but the Avalanche are just 7-17 their past 24 conference semifinal games overall. The Blues are 22-6 vs. a team that allowed two or fewer goals its previous game, and I'll look for them to get more scoring opportunites in Game 2. Take the Blues on the puck line.
