Seattle at New Jersey

Seattle was holding its own until the expansion team ran into the Flyers last night, and the Kraken lost 6-1. They get a chance to redeem themselves with Chris Driedger likely in net after Philipp Grubauer had a bad night on Monday. Driedger played for Florida the last two years and finished 14-6-2 with a 2.07 goals-against average with three shutouts in 2020-21. New Jersey has won its only game so far, 4-3, in overtime against Chicago on Friday. Mackenzie Blackwood still is questionable (heel), so Jonathan Bernier will likely get the call in net after allowing all three goals against the Blackhawks. The Devils are 19-39 their past 58 home games and 16-38 against a team that scored two or fewer goals its previous game. Play the Kraken.
