Ottawa has won two in a row for the first time this season after defeating Colorado 6-5 when Brady Tkachuk scored his second goal of the game 51 seconds into overtime on Saturday. New Jersey has lost eight of its last 10 games and the Devils have allowed 18 goals their last three games and all were losses. The Devils were pummeled 8-4 by Winnipeg on Friday with Jonathan Bernier allowing six goals and Mackenzie Blackwood giving up two more. Blackwood is probable tonight and he has a 3.21 goals-against average and 4-3-1-1 record this season. New Jersey is 7-23 its past 30 games playing with two days rest and just 11-26 its past 37 home games. Also, the Devils are 19-42 after allowing at least five goals their previous game.
