Edmonton at Seattle

Edmonton finally won a game on Thursday after losing six in a row and five of the losses were at home. The streak had started with a 4-3 loss to Seattle on Dec. 3 to give the Kraken a split in the season series so far. Seattle looks to bounce back from a 4-1 loss at Anaheim after the Kraken had beaten San Jose the night before. The Oilers have three players plus the coach on the COVID-19 list. Chris Driedger could be in net tonight in place of Philipp Grubauer, who left Wednesday's game with a lower-body injury. Driedger was the winner the night before against the Sharks when he made 33 saves. The Oilers have lost five of six playing with one day of rest and they are 1-5 after scoring at least five goals their previous game and 2-5 their last seven against teams with losing records.
