Boston Bruins vs Florida Panthers

Florida had a chance to close its last series out but lost at Tampa Bay, 6-3, as a favorite. Boston stayed alive with a Game 5 upset and Florida is 40-42 revenging a loss to an opponent. Boston has home ice and great balance, ranked 13th in goals scored during the regular season, plus fifth defensively in goals given up (2.70 per game) and third in save percentage. The Bruins are 30-10 after a victory by one goal, plus 21-5 after playing a game where three or fewer total goals were scored. Play Boston.

Boston looks to tie the series after losing 6-2 on Friday when the Panthers scored four power-play goals after the Bruins had killed 27 of their first 28 penalties in this year's playoffs. The first three games have gone OVER and Florida has soared OVER six games in a row and the Panthers are 4-0-1 OVER as favorites of -110- to -150. Jeremy Swayman stopped 27 shots in Game 3, but couldn't overcome the Panthers' several man advantages. Boston had won all five regular season meetings heading into this series and can't afford to go back to Florida down 3-1. Florida evened the series with a 6-1 win in a fight-filled Game 2 and the Panthers chased Bruin goalie Jeremy Swayman early in the third period after scoring four straight goals. The game went OVER and the Panthers now have gone OVER five games in a row. Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 14 of 15 shots as the Bruins showed more fight with their fists than with their sticks. Bobrovsky is 5-2 with a 2.71 goals-against average this postseason. Boston has lost five of its past six second round games and Florida has won six of its past seven games playing with one day of rest. The Panthers are 11-2 as road favorites of -110 to -150 and they are 6-1 overall against teams that allowed at least five goals their previous game. Florida has gone OVER four straight playing with one day of rest. Take the Panthers and the OVER as a Max Play.

Jeremy Swayman stopped 38 shots and Boston improved to 5-0-0 against the Panthers this season by winning Game 1 by a 5-1 score on Monday night and yet the Bruins are getting a great price by the oddsmakers in Game 2. Five different skaters scored for the Bruins, who have won five in a row as road underdogs and Florida has lost seven of eight home games versus teams with winning road records. Florida has gone OVER four straight games and the Panthers are 4-0 OVER after losing by at least three goals. What is even more impressive for Boston is that it was playing just two days after winning a Game 7 in overtime against Toronto when one would expect the Bruins to be a little tired.
