Result:
WIN

The Atlanta Hawks lost DeMarre Carroll but added Tim Hardaway, Jr. and Tiago Splitter. Hardaway didn't play in the Hawks' 106-94 home loss against Detroit on Tuesday and Splitter only contributed four points. Atlanta re-signed Paul Millsap who added 19 points but the leading scorer was Dennis Schroder with 20, coming off the bench. The Hawks won two of three meetings last year. New York is coming off a surprising 122-97 rout at Milwaukee on Wednesday night even though Carmelo Anthony was only 4-for-16 from the field. Derrick Williams and Kristaps Porzingis led the Knicks with 24 and 20 points, respectively. The Knicks shot 45.2 percent from the floor while holding the Bucks to 34.9 percent. The Bucks came into the game with numerous injuries. Atlanta needs to prove that it didn't overachieve last season and the Knicks are on a back-to-back. Look for these teams to get closer to their preseason expectations and for Atlanta to bounce back following a day off. Atlanta is 7-0 ATS following its last seven double-digit losses at home. Take the Hawks.
