Washington at Seattle

The Washington Nationals are 31-48 on the season, as the rebuilding process has been slow. Bad teams over the course of a long season will have good stretches and Washington is experiencing that with three wins in their last four games. The Nats won last night in Seattle 7-4 as a +210 dog, and have to feel pretty good about themselves for the moment. Seattle is just 38-40 and more was expected from this team, but it has yet to materialize. The Mariners have dropped three of their last four and the team owns a -20.9% ROI in games started by Logan Gilbert this season. These teams are trending in opposite directions right now. I like Washington in this one.
