Boston has beaten the Blue Jays seven straight times and that bodes well for the Red Sox, who come off a 2-4 road trip. Boston is 30-23 at home and Toronto is 8-23 versus AL East teams this season and the Blue Jays have lost three of their past four games while scoring only nine runs. James Paxton starts for the Red Sox and he is 6-2 with a 1.07 WHIP and Boston has won three of his past starts although it lost 3-2 to San Francisco on Saturday after Paxton left after allowing one run on eight hits in five innings. Seattle hitters are batting .214 with four home runs in 117 at-bats against Paxton.
