St. Louis at Philadelphia

The NL has a lot of teams that are bunched into wild-card contention. The Phillies at 69-58 are at the top of that list, but there are four teams within 2.5 games of the Phillies so there is work to do. The St. Louis Cardinals are not one of those teams. St. Louis is just 2-6 in their last eight games, and all six losses have come against a team with a losing record. It sure looks like the Cardinals are packing it in. The Phillies have been taking care of business as a home favorite where they are 26-15 in their last 41 games. They are also now 14-4 as a home favorite in their last 18 vs. a losing team.
