Seattle won its third in a row after tying it in the top of the ninth and then exploding for five runs in the 10th as the Mariners defeated the Athletics 7-2 last night. Eugenio Suarez's three-run homer was the big blow and Oakland lost for the seventh time in eight games and dropped to 6-25 on the season. George Kirby is scheduled to start for Seattle and he has allowed only six runs his past four starts covering 26 1/3 innings, including just one run in eight innings his last outing against Philadelphia. Kirby has given up just two runs in 14 innings on the road this year. Drew Rucinski has made one appearance for the Athletics and gave up five runs on 11 hits in 5 2/3 innings.
