The Seattle Mariners were not considered a playoff-caliber team to start the season. We are coming up in September and Seattle looks like they are ready to be a serious challenger. The Mariners took the last three games in Kansas City and followed that with a massive three-game sweep of the Houston Astros in Houston. This looks like a big letdown spot for Seattle. This will be the 8th game of a 10-game road trip, and coming off a high in Houston, and traveling without rest to take on a below-average White Sox team will leave them vulnerable here. Seattle has shown this all season. The Mariners are now 0-7 on the season when facing a pitcher that averages less than five innings per start. Make the play on the Chicago White Sox.
