Atlanta has won three straight and six of seven after shutting out the Mets two games in a row and then the Braves had an off day on Thursday. The Braves are 40-20 at home and the Giants are 29-29 on the road and they have lost six of their past eight games after losing two of three to Tampa Bay. San Franciso's hitters have struggled recently as the Giants have averaged only 2.57 runs their past seven games and now they have to face Spencer Strider, who is 13-4 with a 3.75 ERA and 1.12 WHIP. Strider pitched seven scoreless innings on three hits against the Mets on Saturday and he owns a .204 opponent batting average at home this season. Alex Cobb has been rocked for 11 runs on 16 hits in 9 2/3 innings his past two starts. San Francisco is 2-9 as an underdog and it has lost 10 of its past 11 road games. Take the Braves as a Max Play.
