New York at Texas

New York has clinched first place in the AL East along with a bye in the first round of the playoffs and now the focus in on Aaron Judge getting one more home run to break the American League record. Texas is 85-73 on the run line this year and has Martin Perez on the mound tonight and he is a respectable 12-7 with a 2.93 ERA and 1.25 WHIP in 2022. Perez has allowed only 11 runs his last five starts in 31 1/3 innings and the Yankees will be seeing him for the first time this season. Luis Severino has not made it past the fifth inning his last three starts for New York.
