New York at Colorado

Aaron Boone's job could be in jeopardy as New York struggles to get on track, hampered by Aaron Judge's toe injury. The Yankees lost their fifth in six games last night, as the Rockies won 7-2 while hitting three home runs. Clarke Schmidt goes for the Yankees tonight and he is 4-6 with a 4.40 ERA overall, but on the road he owns a 5.18 ERA and .293 opponent batting average, which doesn't bode well pitching at Coors Field. New York has lost six of Schmidt's past eight starts, the Yankees are just 21-20 on the road this year, and they have dropped into a tie for last place in the AL East although six games above .500. Colorado is 9-1 its past 10 home games against teams with winning road records and the Yanks have lost six straight on the road versus right-handed starters. Take the Rockies as my third Max Play.
