New York at Baltimore

New York goes on the road for the first time after winning four of six at home and Baltimore will play its home opener after splitting its first six games. Dean Kremer will start for the Orioles and he will try to bounce back from a rough outing against Boston. Kremer pitched well at home in 2022 with a 2.84 ERA and he finished the season with an 8-7 record and 3.23 ERA. Clarke Schmidt will go for the Yankees and he allowed three runs on five hits in 3 1/3 innings against San Francisco. Schmidt is in the rotation only because of several injuries to the Yankees' other starters. The Yankees have lost five of their past six road games dating to last season and the Orioles' pitching has made a turnaround after getting pounded in their opening three-game series with Boston.
