Atlanta was done in by a six-run fifth inning by the Mets and lost 7-6 on Sunday night and they'll look to Max Fried to help them bounce back tonight against the Yankees, who have lost two straight and are in last place in the AL East. Freid has made two starts since returning from the injury list and allowed no runs on three hits in six innings against the Cubs and then gave up four runs in four innings versus Pittsburgh on Wednesday. The Braves still have won five of seven and have averaged 8.4 runs in that span. Atlanta will face Clarke Schmidt, who is 8-6 with a 4.23 ERA. The Yankees have lost 10 of their past 13 road games and they are 25-30 on the road this season while the Braves are 37-20 at home. New York has lost six of nine overall.
