New York will look to Joey Lucchesi to win its second game in a row after defeating the Nationals 3-2 when Francisco Lindor hit a two-out, full-count three-run single in the sixth and Washington was held to no hits and no runs in four innings by four Met relievers. The bullpen will be looked upon to contribute again today as Lucchesi has pitched four or five innings in recent starts and he has allowed 10 runs his past 20 1/3 innings. Trevor Williams comes off his worst performance of the year allowing five runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings against Arizona. The Nationals and 13-38 their past 51 games versus left-handed starters and they have lost 50 of 71 home games overall and New York has won five of the past seven meetings.
