New York at Atlanta

Atlanta had won five straight before losing its past two games, but look for the Braves to bounce back with Bryce Elder on the mound as he comes off seven shutout innings on one hit against the Yankees on Aug. 15. Elder is 5-1 with a 3.12 ERA at home and 9-4 and 3.46 overall and his counterpart tonight is Tyler Megill, who owns a 5.53 ERA and 1.70 WHIP and New York has lost three of his past four starts. Megill has been especially shaky on the road where he has a 8.20 ERA and .351 opponent batting average. He also is 2-5 with a 6.69 ERA in night games. The Mets have lost seven of eight at Atlanta and they are 3-12 the past 15 meetings overall. Atlanta is 42-22 at home and the Mets still are just 28-39 on the road. Take the Braves - Max Play.
