Los Angeles will turn to Ryan Pepiot to salvage a game from this series. It's his fourth start, and the Dodgers have won his first three as he has allowed only two runs on eight hits in 14 innings. Pepiot pitched five shutout innings in a 7-0 Dodger victory against Arizona on Aug. 30. Miami hitters are 6-for-27 with no homers against him. Braxton Garrett is 8-5 with a 3.86 ERA for Miami, but at home he is 3-3 and 4.94 with a .281 opponent batting average. The Dodgers still have won nine of the past 13 meetings and the Marlins are 9-21 as an underdog. Look for Miami's win streak to come to an end. Play the Dodgers.
