Detroit at Los Angeles

Detroit is making a run at having a somewhat respectable season with a four-game win streak after sweeping the Angels and getting its 70th win. The Tigers face Lance Lynn tonight and he has allowed 20 earned runs on 29 hits in 22 innings his past four starts for Los Angeles. Overall this year, Lynn is 11-11 with a 5.94 ERA and 1.40 WHIP. Eduardo Rodriguez is 11-8 with a 1.15 WHIP and he has given up just 13 runs his past five outings and the Tigers won three of them. Rodriguez's teams are 21-6 in interleague games he has started in his career. The Dodgers have a remote chance of catching Atlanta for best overall record, but Detroit has a good opportunity to finish second in the AL Central, which would be important as a momentum factor heading into next season.
