Cleveland at Detroit

Cleveland was embarrassed yesterday as it lost a doubleheader to the lowly Tigers, but the Guardians will have better luck against Spencer Turnbull, who has allowed 13 runs on 19 hits his first three starts following Tommy John surgery (although he does come off a 3-1 win over Toronto). Cal Quantrill struggled in his first start this year, but he kept the Guardians in the game his last two allowing three runs in each game against Seattle and Washington. Cleveland is 21-7 its past 28 games versus right-handed starters and 26-9 after allowing two or fewer runs its previous game. Despite Tuesday's losses, the Guardians still have won 17 of 24 road games dating to last season and they are 71-29 the past 100 meetings with the Tigers. Make it a Max Play the Guardians.
