The Pads came through for us last night in the dog role and I like 'em to do it again tonight. Their 3-0 victory over the Dodgers last night was their fifth straight and I'm riding this train. During the streak they have outscored their opponents 35-17 as all cylinders are clicking. Zambrano goes for the Cubs and he's the reason they are favored here. But he's 0-2 on the season with a 5.35 ERA. And, the Cubs have been outscored 45-5 over the last six games! Yes, you read that right. Teams batting .255 or worse after scoring 2 runs or less 4 straight games are just 20-56 (26%) since 1997. Two teams going in completely opposite directions here and we'll take the one going in the right direction - as a dog no less.
