Boston at Kansas City

Boston has been streaky all season and it's on another one although not in a good way as the Red Sox have lost five in a row and are in danger of dropping out of playoff contention. Kansas City won 13-2 last night as Salvador Perez went 3-for-5 with two homers and four RBIs and Boston had only four hits off Jordan Lyles, who came into the game with a 3-15 record. Alec Marsh has yet to win a decision for the Royals, but the bullpen and lack of run support have been the culprits as he has given up only 12 runs his past five starts and given his team five solid innings. Tanner Houck is 3-8 with a 4.93 ERA for Boston, which has lost eight of his past nine starts. Kansas City is getting good line value in this matchup and play the Royals as a Max Play.
