Baltimore at Detroit

Detroit has its best pitcher going tonight in the second game of a doubleheader as Matthew Boyd has allowed only nine earned runs in 19 innings and the Tigers have won three of his four starts, including 4-2 over Milwaukee on Monday when he struck out eight in five innings and only two Baltimore batters have ever faced Boyd. Grayson Rodriguez goes for the Orioles and he has a hefty 5.12 ERA and 1.60 WHIP in 19 1/3 innings this season. Baltimore has lost four of the past five meetings at Detroit and the Orioles have a terrible history in Game 2s of a doubleheader.
