Atlanta at Miami

Atlanta won its fifth in a row on Tuesday, defeating the Marlins 2-0 when Jorge Soler snapped a scoreless tie with an RBI single in the eighth inning and Austin Riley homered in the ninth. The Braves now are 2 1/2 games ahead of the Phillies and have Charlie Morton going tonight, and he is 11-4 and hasn't allowed more than three earned runs since June 11. Morton has a 3.09 ERA and .196 opponent batting average on the road. Jesus Luzardo has been a disaster since coming over from Oakland as he has given up 15 runs on 17 hits in three starts covering 14 2/3 innings. Miami is in last place in the NL East while Atlanta is playing the best it has all season. Play the Braves.
