Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (MISS MURDER) (2-1) - Sprinter is stretching back out to a distance she has bee successful at in the past. Speed/stalker was never involved last out following a troubled break but had been competitive in seven straight starts prior to that. Cal bred gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Bellali) (3-1) - Strong finisher miss by a 'head' at this level and distance March 19 in her first starts since Jan 25. However, in her follow up race (April 11) she made a menacing move but hung in the final furlong to finish fourth. Mare is a serious threat with her best.
3rd pick: #6 (She's a Hit) (10-1) - Old mare can 'run all day' without tiring. Seven-year-old finished a distant second here at this trip March 21, but raced evenly April 11 in a contest common to several others in today's finale. She would love some fast/and or contested pace to develop that would help her stretch running style out.
