(# 4) Bye Yawl - $250,000 yearling by El Corredor went off as the favorite in only start during two year old season over Keeneland's Polytrack. Flashed high turn of speed that day in large field (12). Changed trainers after that race going from Ron Werner's Barn to Joe McAlister. Big half mile work for return (47.2 from gate), in preparation for this race.

(# 3) Southernconference - Zito only one for eight at current stand. Most every one of them went favored. This colt cost almost a half million. Working steadily but not very swiftly. Curiously had a bullet at Keeneland but never started there.

(# 1) On the Vineyard - First time starter trained by Lynne Scace has one really eye popping work on view. On Oct 30 at Monmouth Park worked a half mile (48.2), out of the gate (best of 39 who worked the distance). Works at Tampa are similar to the Zito colt. Scace is having a fine meeting here.

(# 8) J'S Sundance Halo - Has had some trouble in both lifetime starts. Regressed quite a bit in second start. Ran good second in debut, but only six competed.
