It was her first race in 11 months and first off a private trainer change to veteran Stanley Hough. Nicely spotted today, she's worked twice locally and I give her a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Righteous Ruby) (7-2) - Another coming from Churchill, she was a winner there going a one-turn mile for a $40K tag June 16. That ran her record to 7-3-2-0 and she runs today first off a Dan Gargan claim, 9-for-31 (32%) in 2018-19. A win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Anne Dupree) (4-1) - A daughter of 'Curlin', she was a gate-to-wire winner at this level going a mile on the Belmont grass June 28. It was her first since a win for a $40K tag on the Gulfstream dirt at today's 7 furlong distance March 31 and is dangerous with John Velazquez aboard.
4th pick: #6 (Slimey) (6-1) - Another 3yo, she's won two of her last three and scored here at this distance on a muddy surface for a $75K tag July 17. She earned a career best figure that day and is trying to become the first repeat winner at this meet.
