This son of 'Medaglia d'Oro' has gone 5-3-1-0 since late January and enters off an easy win going a mile at Belmont for a $10K tag just 8 days ago. It was his first off a Rob Atras claim and think he can score right back on the quick turnaround.
2nd pick: #8 (Lord Simba) (4-1) - Once classier type ships from Kentucky where he was an easy winner as a heavy favorite June 13 at Churchill Downs going 6 furlongs for a $16,000 price tag. It was his first off an Ed Kenneally claim and this speed/stalker is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Soul P Say) (7-2) - He's been idle since tiring at Oaklawn Park going 8.5 furlongs April 28. Claimed that day by Bob Diodoro for $32,000, he returns today for a $12.5K tag while shortening up in distance. 4yo has early speed and the presence of Irad Ortiz Jr, is noted. A threat if ready off the 2.5 month break.
4th pick: #4 (Kahramani) (6-1) - This veteran has been freshened up since May 23. He fits, but has been racing at longer distance for some time now. 5yo will be pretty far back in the first half-mile as he shortens up, but should be making up ground late.
