2nd pick: #4 (Gin Cat) - Strong finisher rallied to finish second at this price going 6 furlongs here on August 1. Effort was her best since March and the extra furlong she travels today is in her favor. Stretch threat.
3rd pick: #5 (Necessary Luxury) - Lightly raced and improving, she's been freshened-up since breaking her maiden at Belmont at this distance June 22. Working fine for her first facing winners, and trainer Jimmy Jerkens has her conservatively spotted.
