(# 3) Lerici - Filly by Woodman has regrouped after first two tries late in two-year-old season. Worked very well before initial start over Hollywood's artificial surface. Sprinted at six furlongs then was stretched out on turf by sharp Biancone barn. Filly was favored in that start and just didn't run well that day. Comes into this with three more excellent works and maybe she's ready to show her best stuff today.

(# 10) Fabulous Sun - Filly finished second and third in only two turf starts. One of two Richard Mandella trained runners in here and they both have similar form. This filly is working fairly well leading into this and is experienced at the two turns facing the field today.

(# 9) Gout de Terroir - The "other" Mandella has run evenly in her pair of turf starts with a good second place finish two back. Working steadily for first start since October and like Fabulous Sun has an edge having already competed around two turns.

(# 4) Island Hop - Last two efforts were pretty good and her running style indicates that the mile and one-eigth is well within her ability.
