2nd pick: #5 (Adair) (5-2) - Colt has been sharp in both appearances to date. He's finished third in both, each at this tag and had legitimate excuses in them. Trainer Phil D'Amato is replacing apprentice Lopez with Edwin Maldonado. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #10 (Profound Visionary) (7-2) - Lightly-raced 5-year-old chased and finished a distant second here at this level Jan 14. It was his first since last Feb and he's an obvious threat with a repeat of that effort.
4th pick: #1 (Anda) (6-1) - Another that's lightly-raced, he missed by less than a length at this level Dec 5 at Los Alamitos. This field is much tougher, so he'll need to improve for anything more than a minor award.
