All have come at this 'tricky' 6.5-furlong 'down the hill' distance. Last out he won a small stakes on it and earned a career best 'figure'. Can take another.
2nd pick: #5 (Hay Dude) (3-1) - English import has been freshened up since Feb 6. Steady performer missed by a 1/2 length in a stakes here at this trip in his only previous start at this distance. He has a flexible style and is dangerous.
3rd pick: #4 (No Silent) (7-2) - He's shipping back from Golden Gate Fields where he finished 2nd in a sprint stakes on the Tapeta surface. He's won here at this distance in the past and did so like today with Gary Stevens aboard.
4th pick: #8 (Outside Nashville) (6-1) - No speed type is better racing on 'poly' surfaces, but is capable of getting a share on the grass with one of his better performances.
