3rd pick: #9 (Alleva) (5-1) - The field's most experienced maiden, he moves back to the grass following three straight on the dirt. He's finished 2nd in two of three on the turf going a mile and I think he can factor in this spot.
4th pick: #2 (Montana Moon) (12-1) - A $275,000 son of 'Malibu Moon', he tired badly here at this level going 9 furlongs Feb 16. Brought back in a week, he's shortening up and must be left in the mix at a big price.
5th pick: #5 (Taos) (20-1) - He has a bit of speed, is switching from dirt to turf, and has Lasix administered for the first time. A 3yo home bred by 'Tapit' he's working fast and is an interesting longshot.
