2nd pick: #9 (Road Test) (4-1) - Grey filly rallied from close range to finish third of nine, beaten 1.5 lengths going a mile on the grass at this $25K claiming price Jan. 6. She has a fine record 7-1-3-1 on the local dirt, draws a nice outside post, and is dangerous today.
3rd pick: #8 (Fly Far Away) (7-2) - Mare rallied to finish second here at this level going 6 furlongs Jan. 5. Washington bred was the local dirt for the first time and should like the additional furlong she travels this afternoon.
