2nd pick: #5 (Pure Pursuit) (5-2) - Lightly-raced 4-year-old is another taking a drop for this attempt. He tired after chasing a quick pace against tougher Nov. 1 at Del Mar and is a strong win candidate at this reduced level.
3rd pick: #4 (Thankful Every Day) (5-1) - Colt raced wide while chasing the pace and held gamely to finish second at this tag going 5 furlongs at Los Alamitos Dec. 10. It was his second back following a year's layoff and he must be left in the mix.
