Top pick: #9 (MADEOFTHERIGHTSTUFF) - Colt races today off a four month layoff and for his fourth different trainer. Now with Pete Miller, son of "Perfect Mandate" has finished second in three of his four starts and is working fast for his return. Blinkers go on and Miller move him from the Hollywood "poly" to the local grass. Takes this if ready.
2nd pick: #12 (Silver Dragon) - Grey gelding is improving and has been sharp in both grass starts going a bit longer. Four-year-old finished a strong third here going a mile Nov. 3, then finished second at Hollywood 23 days later. Stalker draws a nice post and jockey Romano Guce is back in from Los Alamitos for the mount.
3rd pick: #2 (Dixieland Blues) - Nice effort at Hollywood on Dec. 15 saw him involved form start to finiah and check-in second of 10, beaten a length. Race was his first in a year and trainer Marty Jones brings him back on short notice for this attempt.
