2nd pick: #2 (Challah) (2-1) - As mentioned in the write-up for 'Zorich,' this lightly raced gelding by 'Jimmy Creed' dead-heated here at this level Jan. 26. This $400K purchase has a speed/stalking style, has Flavien Prat aboard, and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Bird) (15-1) - Longshot was away slowly and ran evenly here at this distance for a $40K tag Feb. 9. It was his first off a Steve Knapp claim, and I think this longshot will factor in this spot at a big price.
4th pick: #4 (Baby Gronk) (3-1) - He's stretching out beyond 6.5 furlongs for the first time after being competitive in five straight sprints at this level. The stalker fits on figures and is dangerous if he enjoys the additional ground.
