Top pick: #5 (THE PHENOM) - The best race any of these has ever run was this colt's maiden win on real dirt at Fairplex Sept. 23. He went wire-to-wire that day and is working well for his first start since late October. Trainer Mike Mitchell moves him back to conventional dirt and he's the horse to beat if rteady.
2nd pick: #3 (Stormin Proud Papa) - Runs first off a Jeff Bonde claim and this speedy son of "Stormy Atlantic" has a great work on the dirt here on Jan. 31. He has good early speed and can factor if he runs to his drill.
3rd pick: #6 (Winning Desire) - He finished second in a small stakes at Fairplex in his only previous race on real dirt. Strong finisher should get a solid pace scenario to close into.
