2nd pick: #1 (Alohlouya) (12-1) - Prairie Meadows invader had problems at the break in both dirt sprints with large fields. $50K gelding by 'Girolamo' the favorite in each and showed some ability. Capable barn, Clint Stuart, switches him to the grass, stretches him out, and he has the rail. A contender at a big price with a trouble free beginning.
3rd pick: #3 (Martini Thursday) (5-1) - Another coming from Prairie Meadows, he finished second there in both dirt sprints. Bred to handle the turf, trainer Scott Young is adding blinkers for this attempt.
4th pick: #2 (Radiant Kitten) (3-1) - He just missed debuting in a two-turn grass contest at Retama Park in Texas Aug. 28. He received betting support in a small field (six), but this field is tougher. In the mix, but at a short price.
