2nd pick: #6 (Opera Star) (2-1) - This is already her 12th start of 2013 (11-0-2-6) and filly is cutting back in distance after tiring here facing winners going two-turns on May 30th. She finished an even third sprinting on this course in her previous try and moves back in with fellow maidens this afternoon. Strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (La Chilita) (3-1) - She ran evenly here at this level May 29th in her first since July 15th and should be fitter and more competitive in her second off the long break. However, filly needs to step it up to threaten the top two selections.
