It was her third back from a 6.5-month layoff, and this speed/stalker had won her only previous attempt in early October. Barn (Jeremiah Englehart) wins a lot of races and has this mare set for a big effort.
2nd pick: #1 (Entry of 1-Back With Sue & 1a-Abide in Me) (5-2) - Entry is owned/trained by Leland Hayes. At press time he had Mario Pino listed on both halves. Either of them is capable at this level and distance, and either will serve as my second selection.
3rd pick: #7 (Miss Thang) (8-1) - Longshot has a fine local record (16-4-2-2). Stalker is racing back into shape following a pair of layoffs and draws a good outside post for her style at this trip.
